GASTRONOMY OF THE BAY OF KOTOR
The mild Mediterranean climate and fertile soil have caused the scents and flavors of citrus, olive oil, wine, fish and shells to intertwine in the Bay of Kotor. As a dessert, fresh and dried Mediterranean fruit is mostly served. When it comes to sweet specialties, we must mention Perast cake, which is even included in the list of intangible assets of Montenegro, as well as Kotor pasta (cremeschnitte) whose recipes are passed down from generation to generation. As for heritage, Austro-Hungary has left us, in gastronomic terms, creamy cakes and strudels that you can taste in pastry shops along the Bay.
Improving the quality and diversity of the tourist offer based on natural and cultural heritage in the border rural areas of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
