Katuni

On Orjen, as on other Montenegrin mountains, cattle was brought in summer pastures during the summer months. The huts were built of drywall and water was provided by building small family cisterns. Today, summer pastures are almost never used, and the remains of huts and drywall, along hiking and biking trails, remain to testify about a time.
